Introducing Bluesky Experience Shell Build 7

 Hi. Today, we're releasing Bluesky Experience Shell Build 7 to public. We've made some notable changes and improvement on overall experience, such as :

  • Updated the Calculator app. There's 2 new mode available, Standard Calculator and Advanced Calculator.
  • Fixed bug where Events won't send any notification.
  • Fixed bug when user press "Cancel" on restart popup notification, the app will still be restarted.
  • Fixed bug when selecting Personalization in context menu but it launched Settings app in default menu.
  • Ability to show seconds, disable 24-hour clock, and show AM/PM in desktop's clock is now enabled. It was previously disabled in Build 6 due to logic error.
  • Ability to right-click on user pictures, battery information, and clock to change its related settings quickly.
  • New window animation when opening and closing app.
  • New 2 pages in Settings app: Battery and Date and Time
  • Now you can set custom wallpaper and user pictures.
  • Now you'll be asked to enter password before clearing the password.
  • New pop-up message design to match the design aesthetic of Bluesky Experience
  • New window command icons that's sharper and clearer.
  • Widget is now available. Only one widget is available at the moment.
  • New command box commands: calc
  • If you enter command that's not yet available, it'll launch Web Browser app and search the keyword on a search engine instead.
  • Now you can choose your favourite search engine in Web Browser App: Google, Bing, Yandex, and DuckDuckGo

Known issues :
  • Users may be experiencing error throwing on screen while playback in Media Player app
  • If user don't have Segoe UI Variable installed on their device, the UI will utilize Segoe UI instead
  • System Report will always detect that your device is running Windows 11
  • Window animation for opening will likely to only render once, while closing animation will always render properly. You need to restart the app to see the opening animation again.
  • Window animation isn't available in most apps yet.
  • Custom user pictures won't be saved after app is restarted.
  • Widget moving animation will result in flickering wallpaper.

Announcing Bluesky Experience Shell Build 13

 Hey there! Today, we comeback with a brand-new Bluesky Experience Shell build, Build 13! In this build, we've done many MAJOR changes to improve your experience, such as: We drastically changed the animation engine. Now, Battery, Date and Time panel, and Notification panel will render much more smoothly. We revamped the Taskbar and Menu Panel mechanism to fix a bug where Menu Panel won't show while using apps on full screen. As part of this change, some UI aspects are redesigned to comply the new mechanism. We fixed a bug that causes desktop components (command box, battery and time label, etc.) went missing on a first use. We added 16 new wallpapers for you to try.
