Announcing Bluesky Experience Shell Build 12

 Hey there! Today, we're releasing Bluesky Experience Shell Build 12 to everyone. We've made some improvements to refine your overall experience, such as:

  • We've added new window snapping mechanism.
    • Drag a window to the top of the screen to make it full screen
    • Drag a window to the left side of the screen to snap it to the left
    • Right-click on Maximize/Restore button to show window snapping options, Snap Left and Snap Right
    • Double-click the title bar to make it full screen
    • Dragging a full screen window now will restore the original window size
  • We've fixed rare case when time remaining for the battery to be fully charged didn't show
  • We added "Show password" option when adding a password
  • We added ability to generate a strong password on "Add a password" screen
  • We've fixed taskbar-on-top implementation. Now the window should appear normally
  • The Menu, Date/Time, and Battery now will show on the top when taskbar on top is enabled
  • Computer name should be displayed properly on System Report app
  • RAM Bar widget now respects Light/Dark mode

Known issues
  • The command box, battery label, and date/time label will be hidden if you open Settings for the first time. Restarting the shell will fix this problem.
  • Ability to snap right using window-dragging mechanism isn't working yet.
  • Some features in Alarms app are disabled.
  • When choosing "Send Feedback" option, you might see Home page instead of opening Feedback page within Web Browser app.
  • New Personalization page on Settings app may have flickering border when using dark mode.
